Julie has worked as a class teacher in Cheshire and Halton schools for 16 years, teaching across most of the Primary Phase, with the majority of her time being spent with the younger year groups. Julie was responsible for progress across school as the KS1 Phase Leader and Mathematics Subject Leader.
Julie is passionate about finding creative, cross-curricular ways to include Maths in other subjects and to link as many Maths lessons as possible to the topic or text that teachers are currently working on. She has worked for First4Maths since September 2019 and is responsible for creating our popular EYFS packages. Julie has a passion for supporting teachers and loves that her role enables her to create engaging resources for teachers of all age-groups.
